DHEYTONA I had the honour to create and design the perfect cake for my friend of 17 years and her fiancé. I came across Babs pretty fast as I caught wind of some of her other amazing designs and knew automatically that Babs would be the best for the job. From start for finish Babs was tentative, understanding and supportive throughout this process and helped create a master piece that not only did bride and groom love but myself and the other guest throughly enjoyed. I highly recommend Babs for her amazing designs, wonder tasting cakes and her patience, love and care she puts into her job. Thank you again Babs! X

LAUREN Our cake was absolutly FANTASTIC!!! we had ferroro rocher, lemon drizzle and red velvet. All so delicious!! We had so many amazing comments on the cake and nothing left over! I would highly recommend Babs to do any cake!! Beautiful design too!!

JAMES We got married on Friday after 3 attempts and had the pleasure of working with Babs to create our wedding cake. Nothing was ever too much trouble with the ever changing landscape that is wedding planning during Covid-19 and Babs was approachable every step of the way to help us out. The cake itself was a masterpiece and the 3 layers of chocolate salted caramel, red velvet and raspberry & white chocolate have had our guests salivating. 10/10 would highly recommend.

ASHLEIGH When we first met with Babs I wasn’t sure how our cake would turn out or if Babs could even make it how I pictured it to be in my head. From the first consultation right to the day Babs answered any queries we had. When the doors of our room opened for us to do the “fake cake” photo we couldn’t believe it! It was perfect in every way (looking and delicious!) Our flavours were chocolate & salted caramel, peanut butter, red velvet and raspberry and white chocolate! It was delicious even the guest said how delicious it was and how amazing the design as fine detail was. Babs thank you so much for a fantastic cake. Would definitely 110% recommendation Babs x

DARYL When my wife came up with the idea of a nightmare before Christmas wedding cake i approached Barbie bakes cakes to see if she could do it. We had a consultation where we exchanged ideas and anything we asked to be added or removed was no issue at all! Between the consultation and the wedding day we kept in contact any queries i had were answered straight away! Extremely professional and easy to deal with. Once we seen the cake we were amazed and blown back by the detail that went into this cake! It speaks for itself really. We showed Babs a couple of photos of what we wanted but with slight changes, and every detail was caught and it came out exactly as we asked! Our guests all loved how the cake looked and how it tasted! I highly recommend the chocolate orange as a layer! If you want a wedding cake be it simple or complex like this, then this is who you need to bake it! I cannot highly recommend barbie bakes cakes enough! Thank you for being part of our special day!

SHARON Thank you for a fabulous skull wedding cake which even the hotel staff raved about. The hotel chef asked who had made the cake as he hadn't seen such a well made wedding cake before, particularly the depth and definition of the layers when it was cut up. The red velvet and carrot cake layers were delicious and moist but for me the chocolate salted caramel was absolute heaven. Babs listened to our list of wants and her interpretation was stunning. I have great pleasure in recommending Babs especially for couples who are daring enough to do something different as she has a passion and artistic skill for the extraordinary

JACKIE I was lucky enough to attend one of Babs wedding cake masterclasses last weekend and what a day it was! I had never worked with fondant and barely used ganache but from the moment we got started Babs explained everything in such detail. Explaining the how and why behind every technique and method, answering every question I had along the way the day just flew in. Despite having never worked with fondant nothing was daunting under Bab’s expert guidance. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed the day and would definitely attend any follow up class that she might start in the future! I can’t recommend Babs and her classes enough!

FIONA We met Babs at a Wedding Fayre and went for a consultation about our wedding cake. She was so helpful and informative, there are so many things you don't think about until you meet a professional. I had a dream cake in mind but had never really thought of flavours. She had so kindly baked a tray of sample cakes for us (which my fiance quickly devoured!) and that made the decision even harder - every cake was absolutely amazing! We got married at the end of May and our cake was absolute perfection! It was everything I ever dreamed it would look like and the flavours were to die for.
